Well, I am closer to buying a bike. I am trying to decide between the R1150Rt and a K1200LT, used either way. It doesn't seem like very much maintenance to me. I pull the body panels once a year for a look. My 2000 LT has 108,000 miles & the 2004 LT has 191,000 miles. Both have had the fork seals & bushings replace once. They both have stock shocks. The 2000 LT has Hyperpro springs on the stock shocks.
